Douglas County Community Guide

Sweetwater Creek State Park in Lithia Springs, Georgia is a wonderful place to hike and enjoy nature. I was so honored to have a photo I took there being used in the 2017/2018 Douglas County Community Guide. To this date, it's one of my favorite photos I've taken. It was early November and the fall foliage was really starting to pop. The water was so still and the light was great, giving perfect reflections of the trees. The weather was also unseasonably warm, and the water level was low, which exposed the rocks and gave the children a way to safely walk out into the water. And, don't you just love the added reflection of the children in their brightly colored clothes?
